Joyful Drumming School presents:

☆ Come join Adel Amin to learn Middle Eastern drumming ☆ We are excited to announce that Southside Brisbane has monthly workshops at Dance Pointe, Salisbury ☆ There’s classes for the absolute beginner AND intermediate levels ☆ with loan drums also available for hire!!! get ready to have some fun & learn some AWESOME FUNKY rhythms folks!!!

NEXT WORKSHOP: Monthly workshops **NEXT workshop is on the *Saturday 11th APRIL* 2015**, and be held on the second “Saturday” of every month afterwards.

LOCATION: Dance Pointe Studios, 14 Chrome St, Salisbury Qld

TIME:
Beginners & Beyond Beginners~ 11.30 to 1.30 PM (1.5hrs)

COST per class: Sat 14th March Workshop $30/class and will include a CD for practicing

WHAT TO BRING: Your own hand drum will be required ~ For those who do not have a drum , you may hire a drum ($5 per class)

☆About ~ Adel Amin ☆
“Egyptian Percussionist and Teacher”

Recognised as a talented musician from an early age, Adel was awarded a scholarship to the Cairo Conservatorium of Music commencing his training when 8 years old. From the Conservatorium he was selected as a bandsman for a popular Egyptian TV show “El Musrah El Saghier” (“The Small Stage”) where he featured for two and a half years. Since coming to Australia, Adel has worked with a number of Western and Middle Eastern bands including Sahara (now Boom Crash Opera), Black Train (nine piece Gypsy band based in Sydney), The Amera Show, Sydney, Javalani (South African soul and funk band based in Mel bourne), and has performed at the Woodford Festival.

Adel continues to share his knowledge and love of Arabic music, particularly his skills as a drummer, and teacher with regular classes on the Sunshine Coast and Australia-wide workshops.’
